Answer #2: Texas A&M requires that international students with alternative health insurance submit their waiver requests by January 11th. Therefore last day to buy an insurance policy through AIAhealth.com is January 11th. To qualify for a waiver from Texas A&M, your policy must have a start date of January 19th or earlier.

Question #3: Do the AIA-offered policies meet the requirements for the Texas A&M waiver?
Answer #3: Yes, Texas A&M students who have bought these policies have already had their waiver applications approved.

Question #4: What is the required end-date for Spring 2010 policies that meet the requirements for Texas A&M's waiver?
Answer #4: Your policy must have an end date of at least May 15, 2010.

Question #5: Can I buy a policy that ends later than May 15th?
Answer #5: Yes - your AIA-offered policy end date can extend as far as 1 year into the future, so long as you are a full-time student during that period.
